Christmas offer: 12 issues for £49.99

From now until midnight on Saturday 31 December, you can get 12 issues of our very acceptable classic car magazine for just £49.99. The Christmas offer is open to new and existing UK readers; if you have a subscription, we’ll add a dozen issues to the end of your current deal.

Pay for your subscription using Direct Debit, and we’ll honour the £49.99 deal for life, so the Christmas offer will renew at the same price, year after year. Like membership of the Jelly of the Month club, it’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year. It’s even better than installing a swimming pool, although Clark W. Griswold might disagree.

Your subscription will start with issue 19, which is published on 30 December 2022. You can start the new year with a review of the Saab 99 Turbo, a profile of Alejandro de Tomaso, an Ultimate Guide to the Jaguar XJ (X350) and the confessions of an advertising executive.

Our Reader Resto is a Renault Sport Clio V6, Richard Heseltine names six of the best American-engined European exotic, Gavin asks if the Rover Streetwise is a classic, and we’ve even found room for the Suzuki X-90.

We’d say you have until midnight on Saturday 31 December to take advantage of this offer, but it’ll probably overrun into the new year. We can’t expect the online team to be working when the bells ring in the new year. Just remember, the £49.99 price for life is only valid when you pay by Direct Debit. The back issue sale is NOW ON

This weekend, we’re offering back issues of Classic.Retro.Modern. magazine at the discounted price of just £3.99. That’s a saving of at least 20% off the original price. And no matter how many issues you buy, you’ll pay the same postage and packing price of £2.15, so why not go wild and complete your collection while they are cheaper?

They make great gifts, and are a perfect solution for Christmas when it’s difficult to come up with ideas for Secret Santa or that difficult-to-buy-for relative. Alternatively, you can just treat yourself. You’re worth it, or something.

Many of the earlier mags have sold out, but we have limited stocks of the latter issues and even a few subscription copies of issues 2, 5, 6 and 7. From issue 9 onwards we have small stocks of both the retail cover and also the subscription edition.

But if they are as popular as we think they may be, those stocks won’t last long, so hurry now and reserve the issues that you need to complete your collection.

The back issue sale ends at midnight on Monday 21 November, when the prices go up and our publisher turns into a pumpkin. Every back issue that we hold in stock is eligible for the special price, but you’ll have to pay full price for the current mag.

Bruce Forsyth claimed that you don’t get anything for a pair, but this is your chance to buy two issues of our mag for just £9.99. It’s nice to see this offer, to see it nice. Here all day, available for children’s parties, etc.

Maybe you’ve just discovered Classic.Retro.Modern. magazine and you’re wondering what all the fuss is about. This is your opportunity to give us a try before committing to a longer relationship. You can start with the current issue or wait for issue 17, which will be delivered to you before it hits the shops on 1 November 2022.

If you’re new to the mag, where have you been? You’ve missed 16 issues of classic car goodness from a team of talented writers, designers and photographers. Classic cars, retro cars, modern classics and the Renault Safrane. Many, many mentions of the Renault Safrane.

We’ve been bold enough to put a Matra Rancho on the cover, drive a Williams Town Hustler and declare our love of the Proton Impian. Well, some of us have. Many of the back issues are still available, but be quick because they’re selling out faster than a cheap television on Black Friday. Points don’t make prizes, but copies of issue one change hands for big money on eBay.

We should have stockpiled copies of our first issue when we had the chance. As Brucie may have said: ‘Oh, wasn’t that a shame.’
